Frequently Asked Questions (continued)
Questions before ordering? Check here first!
You can use our FAQ page to answer questions commonly asked about our business and services. This is a great place to alleviate your concerns.

Q Do you guarantee your products or services?
A Yes, we will publish a monthly statement, showing how much cash we've generated. We will publish information on projects we have negotiated and progress as it occurs. Click here for more information.

Q What if I don't want to give my credit card over the Internet?
A That's fine, simply continue through the ordering process until it asks you for a credit card number, then simply choose "check" or "phone" as a payment option and we will receive your order electronically. You can then give us your credit card number over the phone, or write us a check, and as soon as we receive payment, we'll fax you a receipt or send it via e-mail.

Q Where will your first community be built?
A We'll be concentrating our efforts in the Los Angeles County for now. As we gain experience, we will look to other communities for areas to make a difference.

Q How do I know this isn't another scam to grab my hard earned cash!?
A Our committment to public disclosure will aleviate your worries. With any donation driven enterprise, there will be concerns. This business will be driven by the good will of our contributors. I can tell you that monthly statements aren't published by your local church. You can trust that we're different.

Q Who will manage the money?
A We will. As I stated on our home page, I'm a 17 year police officer. One of my partners (my cousin actually), is a CPA with a Masters degree from USC in business tax. The third partner (another cousin) is a senior manager for one of the big telephone companies. Like any organization we'll publish the books and you can keep an eye on us yourself just to make sure.

Q If you guys are successful, what do you consider "affordable housing for low-income people"?
A The going rent for a "slum" apartment, is between $600.00 and $800.00. That is usually a 2-3 bedroom home, occupied by several families. The landlords jack that up if the renters agree to move in multiple families. That way they can split the costs. What I hope to do is use the cash generated by this site, to build the properties. I am committed to building brand new buildings, or refurbishing old ones, to make them identical to those that would rent for upwards of $1000.00. One catch though. I intend to keep the rents around the $600.00 mark and maybe add a 4th bedroom. Why? People need space and it isn't fair that the only place that would give them enough room, will also give them no extra cash for necessities.

Q Are you going to make a profit?
A Yes we will. The way I'd like this to go is to allow the rents generated, to sustain the properties. That will keep the rent at a minimum. We will come up with a reasonable (not extravagant) percentage of the cash generated, to keep us in business and maybe allow us to do this full time. We are not in this to be fat cats. Just to provide a valueable service to those in need. Let's face it, housing projects are miserable. Private companies always create a more desireable product. Let the state do it, and nothing will change.
